Terms & Conditions

These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you ("User") and Mirza Ahmad Baig, trading as TwentyThree Labs, Ringstr. 3, 76689 Karlsdorf-Neuthard, Germany ("we", "us", "our"), operator of the Mathra AI mobile application on Android and iOS.

• Parents and guardians are responsible for monitoring their child's use of the app.
• We reserve the right to terminate accounts where age has been misrepresented.
• Children's accounts collect only data strictly necessary to provide the educational service.

Mathra AI is an AI-powered mathematics education application providing:

• Scan, photograph, type, or speak a math problem and receive AI-generated step-by-step solutions.
• Check your own work and receive detailed error analysis and feedback.
• Guided hints and Socratic tutoring modes that support independent learning.
• Practice problems and long-term progress tracking.
• History of solved problems and solutions stored on our servers.
• Secure sign-in via Google Sign-In or Apple Sign-In.

• You may create an account using Google Sign-In or Apple Sign-In. You authorise us to access your basic profile (name, email, profile photo) from those providers.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity under it.
• Notify us immediately at legal@mathraai.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
• One account per user. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions is prohibited.
• Delete your account at any time: Settings → Account → Delete Account (see Section 10).

You agree NOT to use Mathra AI to:

• Submit unlawful, harmful, abusive, or harassing content.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the application.
• Cheat in formal examinations or assessments where AI assistance is prohibited.
• Share your account or subscription access with other individuals.
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data.
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the app.
• Upload harmful, inappropriate, or illegal content via the scan or image feature.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or attack our servers or AI processing infrastructure.
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation.

Violations may result in immediate account suspension or termination without refund.

• All content, design, code, branding, and features of Mathra AI are the intellectual property of Mirza Ahmad Baig / TwentyThree Labs and are protected by applicable IP laws.
• AI-generated solutions are provided for your personal, non-commercial educational use only. You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercialise them.
• You retain ownership of original content you submit (e.g. your handwritten problems). By submitting, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process it solely to deliver the service.
• The Mathra AI name and logo are trademarks of TwentyThree Labs. Unauthorised use is prohibited.

• THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
• We do not warrant the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses.
• To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability shall not exceed the subscription amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
• Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or liability that cannot be excluded under German or EU law.
• Statutory consumer warranty rights under German BGB remain fully applicable and are not excluded by these Terms.

• We may suspend or terminate accounts for Terms violations, fraudulent activity, or abuse.
• We will provide reasonable notice before termination except in cases of severe violations.
• Upon termination your right to use the app ceases immediately.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, without regard to conflict of law principles. For EU consumers, mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence also apply and cannot be waived by these Terms.

• Jurisdiction: Courts of Karlsruhe, Germany — subject to mandatory consumer jurisdiction rules.
• EU Online Dispute Resolution: The EU ODR platform is available at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/. We are willing but not obliged to participate in alternative dispute resolution.
• Consumer Rights: Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under German BGB or the EU Consumer Rights Directive.
• Language: These Terms are in English. In case of conflict with any translated version, the English text prevails.

We may update these Terms at any time. We will provide at least 30 days' notice of material changes via in-app notification and/or email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you do not accept revised Terms, you may cancel your subscription and delete your account before the effective date.
