1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Mathra AI ("App", "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Mathra AI is an AI-powered mathematics learning application that provides:

• Step-by-step solutions to mathematical problems
• AI-generated explanations across arithmetic, algebra, calculus, statistics, and more
• Equation scanning via device camera
• Personalised practice sessions and progress tracking
• A learning history and achievement system

3. User Accounts

You may use Mathra AI as a guest (with limited features) or by creating an account. When creating an account you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Keep your login credentials secure and confidential
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access at support@mathra.ai
• Accept responsibility for all activity under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Mathra AI offers a free tier and paid subscription plans ("Mathra Pro").

• Subscriptions are billed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store
• Prices are displayed in the App and may vary by region
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions through your App Store or Play Store account settings
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google in accordance with their respective policies
• We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable advance notice

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and agree not to:

• Use the App to cheat in academic examinations or assessments in violation of institutional rules
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our servers or infrastructure
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute App content without permission
• Upload offensive, illegal, or infringing content
• Circumvent subscription paywalls through technical means
• Use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair our Services

6. AI Accuracy Disclaimer

Mathra AI uses artificial intelligence which, while highly capable, may occasionally produce incorrect results. We strongly recommend:

• Verifying important calculations independently
• Not relying solely on Mathra AI for high-stakes decisions
• Reporting inaccurate answers via the in-app feedback feature

We continuously improve our AI models but cannot guarantee 100% accuracy at all times.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the App — including but not limited to the AI models, user interface, graphics, logos, and text — are owned by or licensed to Mathra AI and are protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

8. User-Generated Content

By submitting math problems, photos, or other content, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to use that content solely to provide and improve the Service. You retain ownership of your content.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mathra AI and its affiliates, officers, and employees shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including without limitation warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App immediately if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will do so.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of the jurisdiction where Mathra AI operates, unless applicable consumer protection laws require otherwise.

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes through the App or via email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
